Good morning everybody . Id just like to explain a little about our quarantine , i know alot of people understand , but we seem to be getting a lot more new customers that dont , so i would like to explain a little . Where it says quarantine on the website , that is a rough estimation . Also the koi will be at 25 degrees when finished , so the majority of people will need a few more days for us to cool them down . Please understand , that our quarantine , is not 6 weeks job done and thats it .We run through a heat ramping protocol , sometimes it takes a little longer than we expect , lets say if the temperatures are agianst the heat pumps in the chilling proces like they were two weeks ago then it can take longer . Another problem we have , is that we have twice as much quaratine water , as we do sales water ( so i hope you understand where our priorities lie . ) , so even when the koi are finished , we may not be able to bring them into the shop , if all the sales tanks are ful of koi . So if you see a koi you like , that says its finished quarantine , and you are travelling a long way , sometimes it might be better to ring a head . Especially under the present circumstances , flights delayed , shipments put back , and that we are very busy , so everything is taking longer , and the fact that people picked up their koi much later again this year , means we cant always move koi straight into the shop . We dont allow people into the quarantine centres when we still have fish in their going through quarantine , we wont do videos or bowl koi , others may do , thats thier choice , we will not . I know this may not suit everyone , but this is the way we work , and it works for us and the majority of our customers .I do try to keep on top of the website , but changing all the dates of finished quarantines in the present circumstances is at least alot more work , if not impossible . One thing i will say, is the koi will never finish earlier than stated ! These times are unpresedented for us , in 30 years i have never know a season as busy as this , and we are very grateful for all your support , and understanding .
