Hi all. As you know by now, Sue and myself have split up. The damage is irreversible, but we are trying to keep the shop going together, but im not too sure if it will long term. So we are drastically going to reduce koi stocks, so we can may be work around it. So from Saturday 10 there will be 1/3 to 50 % of all koi in the UK. If we can, we will show you around the Forge as well so you will have 100s if not 1000s of koi to see. Everything is now out of quarantine. If you want to see the Momotaro pond, the water is clearing, but call first to double check before travelling.

As a few of you know , we have purchased some nisai from the south of Japan . We havnt switched supliers or fallen out of love with Niigata , its just a few customers have asked if we can obtain fish from there . It opens a few doors for us , and we may even visit there in the future . But , as ususal , theres another reason , its been said before that i cant go down the south , i cant get koi from this breeder and that breeder , so its time to silence them once and for all ..., and as ive said before , i always rise to the challange . We go to Niigata becuase we want to , and always have done . Some of the breeders i have known over half my working life , and i enjoy seeing them year after year , nothing will change nor will it change on who we use on those visits . Its just that we need to expand into other areas , and allthough i did it to show i can buy koi where i like , and when i like , i actually like what ive purchased down there , and have already sold a few if them in the shop already . Heres two examples of whats being shipped next month . Tancho sanke from Momotaro , nisai , female and 59cm . Sakai fish farm kohaku , nisai female and 55cm . All koi come with certificates . Tancho sanke now sold !
