A month in the middle of the harvest due to an infected leg that led to Sepsis, and another month-6 weeks after an operation on one of my kidneys that was right at the start of the sales when the weather warmed up, combine this with what has been a more quiet season than usual . This has left us with Sue trying her best to hold the fort, and us as a company with too many unsold koi. So we need to reduce the volume of koi we have here. Good morning all. After to speaking to APC first thing today, we have decided there will be no shipping of koi today. Due to the snow there are dozens of branches affected, and the hub in Birmingham is already getting back logs from last night. This means anything getting shipped today could run into delays. I am very sorry about this, but the health of the koi has to come first, and we dont need the aggro of live koi fish being stuck in Birmingham for a day or two. If this changes tomorrow we will advice likewise.
Last nights auction went very well, and the next one is tonight at 8PM as usual. Another nice mix of koi from famous breeders, Oya, Yamamatsu, Isa and Dainichi.
