A month in the middle of the harvest due to an infected leg that led to Sepsis, and another month-6 weeks after an operation on one of my kidneys that was right at the start of the sales when the weather warmed up, combine this with what has been a more quiet season than usual . This has left us with Sue trying her best to hold the fort, and us as a company with too many unsold koi. So we need to reduce the volume of koi we have here. Kusuri Pottasium permanganate 250g

Kusuri Potassium Permanganate can be used for the treatment against parasites, Trichodina & Costia as well as a general disinfectant for ponds and equipment. On the packet , it states keeping dosing to keep the colour purple , we suggest waiting until the water clears and treating again . If your water doesnt stay purple for four hours , then you may need to clean filters etc etc , and re dose once water is clear . Also note that using showers will make the water clear quicker , so a second scrape may be needed .

Kusuri Potassium Permanganate is another popular powdered chemical for various applications.A good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Excellent for the eradication of Trichodina & Costia, and other parasites.
It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10°C (50°F).
At higher temperatures Potassium Permanganate removes oxygen from pond water, it is advisable to keep an air stone running and add more air if possible.
We  recommend NOT using Potassium Permanganate with salt.
