Torazo had harvested some more nigh grade nisai , so i still needed another one to go with a two step i had bought earlier in the week .The fish were impressive but nothing i liked in the budget i had set aside , so ill return again later in the week when he is harvesting again . A quick visit to Kawakami produced nothing , and again Nagashima had nothing new in . After another bowl of curried rice we went to Yagneji where we bought some large goshiki , kikisui and a massive gin rin yamabuki ogon . We had to rush off as we had a 3pm appointment with Sakai , on our arrival the place was heaving , and a large group of chinese were buying koi like they were going out of fasion , being a small company i thought it best to leave and return later , which was a shame as we had seen two very promising looking shiros for Rod . Sakai saw us and said hello and straight away mentioned the weight i had lossed (my size seems to be an obsession with the breeders) and asked what we were looking at , when i pointed at the shiros he asked to wait for a minute and he would bowl them up . ( who says the big breeders dont make time for the little guys )When the chinese had finished the two shiros were duly bowled and one was incredable , the quality was so good i was worried about the price , but it wasnt as high as we thought , and with a bit of negotiating it came down to where we wanted to be , ( i think he was in a good mood due to selling so many high class fish to the previous party ) An excellant end to the day .
